Scope and Contents

This is a discussion and description of a collection of manuscripts that contain popular Scottish Gaelic poetry, composed by Duncan McRae between 1688 and 1693. Mackinnon (who presumably wrote this discussion) claims that this is the first account of this poetry. There are examples of McRae's poetry in the notebook.
